Project

So I bought this bedroom furniture a few months ago and refinished it pretty quickly, but it took me a while to find handles and knobs that would fit. Finally I decided to just drill new holes and finished it completely the other day... well, minus one knob (one out of 12 knobs was bigger than the rest, grrrr!). It turned out great, I love it and am so excited I got it all for the small price of $200. Thank you KSL! :)

I'm still wishing it was a little bit greener, it's always so hard to tell on those stupid cards!

San Diego

Last week Me, Jami and our friend, Becca, drove down to San Diego for our other friend, Karalee's, wedding. We had an absolute blast, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!! My mom was so nice to fly down to watch Taya while we went and then drove with Jami to Atlanta as soon as we got home. Thanks so much Mom!! It was a quick trip, but completely worth it. We went to Sea World the day after we got there, which I've been talking about for probably 4 years, so I was a little kid the whole day :) Karalee's wedding was absolutely beautiful, as was she. We're so happy for her and wish her the best!

Check out these sweet camera skills :)

Jami, me, Becca, and Sydney (another friend we met up with in California) and flamingos in the backround.

Me and Jami petting the sting rays ... this was right after she stuck her whole arm in the water and soaked her sleeve, nice smell of fish all day :) Real smart! haha jk

Right before the ceremony

I'm so depressed, so many of my pictures came out blurry, but you can still tell how beautiful she is!

Karalee & Adam. So happy.

Jami's sneaky face!! haha

Jami is going to kill me for putting this picture on here, but she was literally the first in line to fill up her candy bag. We got in the room first and she headed straight for the table. She filled up 2 bags that night and left all the poor children with nothing. :) (ok, not really, the kids still got plenty)

Secret...

. . . . . .

Surprise! Yes, we're going to have another baby! We're a little nervous to have 2 kids, but way excited! I'm due October 29th so hopefully it won't be a Halloween baby :)

Happy Easter!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Warner's on Sunday for Easter dinner and, of course, an Easter egg hunt. Taya had an absolute blast finding the eggs! It took her a minute to figure it out, but once she did she was not happy to be done! We had to make a trail of eggs leading to the doors so we could get her back inside the house. :) I didn't realize how much candy she ate until later that night. I put her to bed at 7:30 and at 8:30 she was still talking to herself so I woke her up and let her play for a while. She was bouncing off the walls! She ran full speed into the tv and fell over the bookcase, it was absolutely hilarious. Luckily Jami and Trey were also there to witness it! Taya might not be getting that much candy for a long time! :) Here's a few pictures from the Easter egg hunt...

Cute Easter dress my mom sent her! Love it!

She finally figured out there was candy in the eggs and had to stop for a break! She was so excited she bit right into the foil wrapping.

a few more...

This is Jami's dog, Walter. I've showed pictures of him before, but him and Taya are best buds so we took a few pictures with him. This one turned out soooo adorable!!

I think this one might be my favorite :)

18 Month Photo Session

My friend, Jocelin, came over yesterday and took pictures of Taya. I've only seen a few from her blog so far but they turned out sooo cute, so I thought I'd give you a sneak preview...

Thanks again Jocelin! (I stole these pictures off her blog, hope she doesn't mind :/) Her website is photographybyjocelin.typepad.com if you're interested!

Hawaii

It's been so long since I've posted anything, but Cam and I got to go to Hawaii with a few couples from Pinnacle a couple weeks ago. It was sooo much fun to get away and so nice to be in warmer weather! Here's a few pictures from the trip...

Scott, Trey, and Cameron at Pipeline (the famous surf spot). The boys were all in heaven watching the surfers  and I was in heaven watching all the whales! We saw so many it was crazy!

While we were there we went to the set of Lost... kinda cool but we didn't get to see anyone famous! They were filming while we were there so they kept having to come over to us and ask us to move because we were in their shot, it was pretty funny. So next time you watch Lost look for us peeking around the bushes in the background! ha!

The Dole Plantation
Who knew this is how pineapples grew!?! No wonder they're so clean!

Pearl Harbor

It was so neat to see Pearl Harbor, we were so glad we went. So crazy to think what happened in the exact spot we were so long ago.

We had soo much fun on our trip and are so glad we got to go! It was so nice not to have Taya for a few days, thanks to my sister Kim for watching her! She didn't seem like she really missed me when I picked her up but when we got home she wouldn't stop hugging me all day! So cute!

Such a Big Helper

Taya loves helping me around the house. She helps me put clothes in the washer and dryer, but makes sure to give them loves before she throws them in! So cute ...

She helps me unload the dishwasher...

And, unfortunately, has to put everything in her mouth before handing it to me :) ...

Oh and by the way, don't mind the hair, or the chocolate pudding on her face, or the sweet and sour sauce spilled all over her shirt... just one of those days!

FUN!!... or maybe not

Found this on a friends blog...had to pass it on! It could be fun!!Lucky you! The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!2- What I create will be just for you.3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Something to Think About...

Say this word out loud... "comfortable".

Did you pronounce it as "comfortable" or "cumfterble"?'

Seriously, who came up with the pronunciation of "cumfterble" because that's usually how I say it. This is a totally random blog, I know, but I was driving to work the other day and saw a billboard with the word and started to think about it. So really, I'm curious, how do you say it? Am I the only idiot out there that says "cumfterble"? :)

Goofy Girl...

This picture was taken on my phone so it's not the greatest quality, but I thought it was hilarious. This is one of those flexible hampers that she found and put over her head this morning. :)

Mini Stroller

So I bought Taya a little baby stroller for Christmas thinking she'd have so much fun pushing around her dollies... turns out I was wrong. If I put the doll in the stroller for her she throws her out and tries to sit in it herself. I thought it was cute, then she started wanting me to push her around in it. Apparently a little mini stroller that she barely fits in is way cooler than a normal size, comfy stroller. I have to hide the stroller now if I don't want a tantrum thrown. She gets mad at me if she sees it and I'm not already pushing her! Turns out this is all Aunt Jami's fault. So thanks Jami for entertaining my child, but really? :) I guess it's a good work out for me! This was a video we took a few days ago... have to admit, it's pretty cute. Taya's little giggle and scream is hilarious. Enjoy...

Just Do It

#1. So today I decided that it was finally time to clean my microwave. Yes, it's been a long time, and I'm embarassed about it, but the reward was so much worth the effort. So now I'm asking you, when was the last time you cleaned your microwave? Has it been more than 3 months? If so, your microwave will truly be greatful for the cleaning. Maybe, so you don't forget to do it, you should just get off your bum right now, yes in the middle of reading my lame blog, and do it. You'll thank me later. And if your microwave is already spotless, maybe you should come clean mine next week because obviously you're better at doing it than me.
#2. I went to Walgreens tonight to pick up a perscription and as I was walking out the door, straight to my car, I turned my head slightly to see a man walking quickly towards me. I started walking faster and he said "miss... miss... can I have a dollar?" I kept walking and told him I didn't have any cash and hurried and got inside my car and locked the doors. I started shaking in my car, terrified, and drove home. I've been thinking about it for a little while... what would I have done if anything had happened? I had nothing to protect myself, but my muscles of course :). Anyways, the point of my #2 is that I decided I need to get some mace. And so do you. You never know. And don't be nieve about it because it really could happen to you. And also, if that creepy man is out there reading this, heads up, it's never cool to chase a girl down in the pitch dark and ask for money. Especially when you look as creepy as you did. So if you really did need money, I apologize, but really, c'mon.

Christmas 2008

This year we got to go to Washington for Christmas and had so much fun! Taya and I went a few days early and were so spoiled by my parents! I think Taya gets a little bored with just me at the house now! Thanks again Mom and Dad for the wonderful Christmas! Here are a few, or a lot of pictures from the trip...

Cameron finally came in 1st place with his gingerbread house, he was pretty proud!

Taya's reindeer antlers

Christmas morning... aren't we beautiful!? :)

I don't think Taya really cared about her stroller or anything else she got, except for the candy!

Andrew, Jenna, Dad, Mom, Taya and Jami

This was my favorite... Jami wanted to play in the snow but didn't have snow clothes so she put on my dad's coveralls, boots, gloves and whatever else she's wearing and went to play with all the kids. It was hilarious watching her walk in these huge clothes!

This is one of Taya's new faces, only she's being modest. Usually she looks like an old woman, or the girl on "The Ring". Sweet Taya :)

Grandma and Taya

Taya found a new toy while we were there

This is out at our pool, Taya looks like a marshmellow!

Taya splashed right when I took the picture and splashed Cam... love his face!

Last picture I promise... my mom is going to be so embarassed I posted this picture, but this, believe it or not, is a spider web frozen outside our front door! We all thought it was pretty crazy so I thought I would share it with all of you!

Happy late Holidays, hope everyone had a good Christmas!
